This study examined the relationship between brain structure and creativity by administering creativity and intelligence tests to 61 subjects and analyzing the results alongside MRI brain scans. Key findings included negative correlations between divergent thinking scores and thickness in the occipital lobe, and positive correlations between creative achievement scores and thickness in the right angular gyrus as well as left lateral orbitofrontal volume. The study aimed to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the neurological basis of creativity by combining psychometric, MRI, and previous literature.
